The residual waste from foam cores and the pollution it generates is a burden on the environment. The desire to make our foam cores more sustainable is strong. However, to achieve lasting results for the future, Deron aims for more than recyclability. Towards infinity. Towards circularity. Towards Soof®.

EXTREMELY LOW CO2 EMISSIONS

The total CO₂ footprint of Soof® is approximately 70% lower than that of conventional foam mattresses. This directly saves tens of thousands of kilos of CO₂ emissions per year. The 100% circular core can be returned to granulate – the raw material for a new Soof®. And that is what it’s all about.

Infinitely reusable

More than just Circular

With Soof®, we aim to help make the Netherlands greener. After its first use, Soof® is transformed back into raw material for the next Soof® – an endless process. For our circular products, this cycle is truly infinite. When burned or heated, the amount of toxic fumes is minimized. This contrasts sharply with traditional foam mattresses, making the innovative Soof® a safer choice.
Almost forgotten: efficiency. Soof® cannot warp or deform, thanks to the addition of Pelprene®. The mattress can be used both as a standard mattress and as a preventive pressure-relief mattress. And the weight capacity? One Soof® up to 140 kg, one Soof® Firm up to 220 kg, and one Soof® Extra Firm up to 300 kg.

With Soof®, we are proud to take a big step forward. This is made possible by its limitless moisture and air permeability. Thanks to its pressure-distributing properties, Soof® can withstand continuous use without losing its valuable character. Flexibility. Comfort. Mobility. Soof® consists of fibers woven into a complex, three-dimensional structure. Impressive. Thanks to this open design, the mattress is resistant to moisture. Soof® makes a significant contribution to preventing bacterial growth. It is characterized by its ability to distribute pressure. This innovative feature allows clients to turn and reposition more easily on the mattress. Its stability also enhances ease of getting in and out of bed.

Soof is available in a children’s mattress but also in a seat cushion version. Soof® Kids weighs only 4 kg. For caregivers, it means less physical strain when changing or moving the mattress. Practical ease of use and Soof® Kids go hand in hand. That’s phenomenal. Of course, Soof® Kids also complies with European medical device laws and regulations and the mattress is CE marked, class 1 notified. Deron, as the manufacturer, is ISO 13485 certified. Soof® is unique. Sitting on Soof® is different. Everyone lives this special experience in their own way. Soof® is even more comfortable, even lighter in weight and has even better pressure relief than we are already used to from our high-quality foams.

Most functional cleanable mattress

The Pelprene®-treated filaments give Soof® antibacterial properties. The mattress also does not absorb moisture, preventing mold from taking hold. Thanks to its highly open 3D structure, Soof® can be disinfected quickly and effectively. Soof® is the most functionally cleanable mattress, as it can be thoroughly rinsed under a water stream. Its water retention is extremely low, allowing it to dry up to 300% faster than a foam mattress – ideal when the mattress needs to be reused quickly. The 3D structure of Soof® is made from a series of continuous fiber cushions to which dust fibers do not adhere.
